Constipation

What is constipation?

Constipation corresponds to stools that are generally more difficult to pass because they are harder, less voluminous and less frequent than usual. This means fewer than three stools a week.

What are the causes of constipation?

Poor eating habits and a lack of exercise can lead to constipation, as can certain types of medication or intense emotions, such as anxiety or stress.
